Pravesh Syllabus
1. Brief information about the origin of Scouting / Guiding, to know the definition, purpose, principles and methods.
2. Scout/Guide aspirant should be aware of Scouting movement.
3. Knowledge of Scout/Guide Rules and Pledge and conduct on it.
4. To know the motto, symbol, salute, left handshake and their meaning of the Scout/Guide.
5. To do one good deed in the house every day and to prepare a diary of the work done for at least one month.
6. Have complete knowledge about Scout/Guide Uniform and know how to wear it properly.
7. To know the composition and importance of the National Flag, Bharat Scout Guide Flag, World Scout and World Guide Flag and to know the flag etiquette.
8. To be able to sing the national anthem, Bharat Scout guide prayer and flag song correctly and to know their composition, duration and meaning.
9. Participate in 4 hours objective tour with your team.
Note:-
After obtaining the above qualifications in at least three months, on the satisfaction of the scouter guide, the scout guide is given initiation ceremony (pledge) and membership badge is given.
