How to Prepare for Rashtrapati Award Scout Guide Logbook
- Approved letter from Group / Company Meeting (COH)
- Unit leader has to obtain permission letter from District Commissioner Scouts/Guides.
- For camping outside the district, the District Commissioner Scout Guide will have to obtain permission letter from the State Commissioner Scout Guide.
- The unit leader has to obtain permission letter from the officer of the camp site.
- Unit leader has to get permission letter from group leader
- The Unit Leader has to obtain permission letter from the guardian of the Scout/Guide.
- Unit leader will have to issue permit card to the Group leader/member after obtaining the permit card from the district organization commissioner, scout guide.
- The unit leader has to take prior permission from the District Organization Commissioner, Scout Guide, 14 days before the camp.
- Complete details of the camp (from date to date) will have to be entered in your log book with photos (camping site, date, type of camp, time table, complete details of camp from beginning to end, including the materials used in the camp).
- The complete statement should be followed by the signature of the unit leader.
- Certificate of submission of return to the Unit Leader after the end of the camp
- Log book and photograph of proceedings duly attested and countersigned by District Commissioner / District Organization Commissioner (Scout Guide) with official seal.
President Award Syllabus in English
PROFICIENCY BADGE
The name and logo of the badge is to be on a few pages of the log book.
- Recommendation letter of the District Badge Committee, on which the name of the independent examiner of All Proficiancy Badge of the district is inscribed with the badge.
- Approved letter from Group / Company Meeting (COH)
- Proficiancy Badge showing the activities performed and knowledge according to the subject matter given in APRO Part II / III, the complete details will have to be entered in his log book with photographs.
- The complete statement should be followed by the signature of the unit leader along with the signature of the independent examiner of the badge with the date of test.
- Certificate from Independent Badge Examiner duly countersigned by District Commissioner / District Organization Commissioner (Scout / Guide) with official seal.

Community Development Project Note: -
To take any two of the projects given in APRO Part - ii / iii and work on it for six months, in which the work must be done one day in a week and two hours time has been given in the week.
- Project Name ( 02 Projects )
- How long is the duration of the project
- Approved letter from Group/Company Meeting (COH)
- Unit leader has to obtain permission letter from District Commissioner Scouts/Guides.
In case of working on projects outside the district, the District Commissioner Scouts/Guides will have to obtain permission letter from the State Commissioner Scout Guide.
The unit leader has to obtain permission letter from the official of the site running the project.
- Unit leader has to get permission letter from group leader
The Unit Leader has to obtain permission letter from the guardian of the Scout/Guide.
After completing the project, the certificate will also have to be obtained from the group leader.
- Certificate issued by the officer of the site where the project was carried out.
- Complete details of the project (from date to date) along with photo while working in your log book (project site, date, project name, time, complete details of project from beginning to end) will have to be mentioned
- Log book and photograph of proceedings duly attested and countersigned by District Commissioner / District Organization Commissioner (Scout Guide) with official seal.

Badge Examer Only Scout / Game Leader / Fancy Cooking (Guide Only)
Badge Examer (Scouts Only)
Approved letter from Team Meeting (COH)
- Badge name (the badge for which he has served as an examiner)
- Name of the site where the tester worked and the name of the unit whose children received the test of that badge.
- Appreciation letter from the Unit Leader/Group Leader whose child secured the badge test.
- The complete details of working as a badge examiner will have to be recorded in his log book, complete details of time from beginning to end, including photo while working (name of badge, place, date, actual attendance of children).
- Logbook and photo graph of proceedings duly attested and countersigned by District Commissioner/District Organization Commissioner Scouts/Guide with official seal.
Games Leader
- Approved letter from Group/Company Meeting (COH)
- Name of the Games
- The unit leader has to obtain permission letter from the official of the sports venue.
- Unit leader has to get permission letter from group leader
● The unit leader has to obtain permission letter from the guardian.
● Citation / certificate from the official of the sports venue (from the head in the case of locality)
● Complete details of playing the game will have to be recorded in your log book along with the photo while working (name of the game, work place, date wise list of games, list of children, attendance (attendance) time complete details from beginning to end)
● Log book and photograph of proceedings duly attested and countersigned by District Commissioner / District Organization Commissioner (Scout Guide) with official seal.
Fancy Cooking (Guide Only)
- Approved letter from the Company's Meeting (COH).
- dish name
- Dish Presentation (Venue Name and Date)
- The complete description of the item will have to be entered in its log book, including the photo while working (the name of all the dishes prepared (method of preparation with food items), place of work, time etc.)
- Log book and photograph of proceedings duly attested and countersigned by District Commissioner/District Organization Commissioner's Guide with official seal.

- Kendrastag Adventure Center (Scout)/Five International World Guide Center (Guide) Complete details will have to be entered in your log book with photo
- The log book should be duly attested and countersigned by the Unit Leader, District Commissioner / District Organization Commissioner (Scout / Guide) with official seal.
Information for President's Certificate Checking Exam
This examination will be conducted in two phases.
01. State level checking examination which will be conducted under the supervision of Regional Office. (Fully residential for 05 days)
02. The Scout Guide who has passed the State Level Testing Examination will have to appear in the examination conducted by the National Headquarters.
Participate in the State Level Testing Exam with the following preparation
01. Attested photocopy of birth certificate
02. Photocopy of Aadhar Card
03. All Passed Proficiency Badge, Proficiency Badge Certificate
04. Photocopy of Warrant Certificate of Unit Leader.
05. Photocopy of certificate of group charter.
06. Personal Progress Card (Fully Filled)
07 All log books (attractively decorated).
08 Two photographs (in colored passport size uniform).
09 Group Leader's Recommendation Letter
10. Certificate in respect of other subject matter.
