Q. What is Upa Rashtrapati award ?
1. PURPOSE :- to motivate Rovers and Rangers to take up community service and community development projects.
Q. What is the period to apply Upa Rashtrapati award ?
2. PERIOD :- from 1st july of the year to 30 April to succeeding year.
Q. What is the eligiblity of the Upa Rashtrapati award ?
3. ELIGIBILITY :-. Rover's and Rangers unit registered with state association at least 1 unit from Rover Ranger section from 1st district will participate . At least 2 district from a state is required for competition.

Q. What is the registration process for Upa Rashtrapati award ?
4. REGISTRATION :- The unit will be registered at national headquarters through the state before 30th April of the year.
Q. What is the registration fee for Upa Rashtrapati award ?
5. REGISTRATION FEES :- Rs 10/ -per unit.
Q. How to prepare the logbook of the Upa Rashtrapati award ?
6. LOG BOOK :- national headquarters will issue a logbook through the state association for every unit registered for this competition.

Q. Who does Judging of the Upa Rashtrapati award ?
7. JUDGING :- Judging will be done at district, state and national level.
Q. When is the Upa Rashtrapati award ?
8. AWARD :- each unit gaining 70% and above marks will be awarded vice President merit certificate and unit gaining more than 50% marks in all categories but less than 70% will be awarded participate certificate by national commissioner.
Q. What should the Upa Rashtrapati award project Area ?
9. PROJECT AREA :- not be less then 1 Basti or hamlet and more than 3 basti/Hamlet in urban area not less than 1000 house / hutmens.

10. SUBJECT FOR COMPETITION :- There are 3 category of subject
1.self Devlopment
2. Service within the movement
3. Service outside the movement.
Every unit will participate in self devlopment and service within the movement subject are devided in 6 groups of their choice.
Q. When is the Upa Rashtrapati award logbook submitted?
11. SUBMISSION OF LOG BOOK :- the unit will be submit the logbook after completion of the competition to the district by 15th may and district will forwarded the logbook to the state by 15th June.
